Lechuguilla Cave Carlsbad Caverns National ParkLechuguilla cave in the 1990's was the leading edge of state-side exploration. The cave blew at 40mph which led us all to believe that it had it plenty of passage to document and to the entire caving communities glee, it did not disappoint. Lisa and I went there numerous times, both together and apart. The slideshow will take you down the apricot pit and into an area that eventually led to the entire eastern section of the known cave. We were there to explore, but to also survey what we found and collect water samples. Join us as we ring in the New Year!
