Back On Track and Washington!
Hi Everyone!
We haven’t been posting of late due to a couple of reasons; but we should be back on track now.
Last month (July) we took a 9 day journey to Northern California and Washington. You can see the updated pages and slideshows in the site via the navigation bar to the right.
The Cutlers joined us once again and we did quite a bit of caving and sightseeing. Of course we did quite a bit of driving as well and found numerous ways of increasing our gas mileage.
In Northern California, the fires were raging and the smoke in the air hampered our hiking and some of the views at Lassen. In Washington, Mt St Helens and Mt Rainier are absolutely beautiful! The vistas driving up to them were grand. Although we experienced road closures in both parks, enough was open to get a good overall view of the mountains and features.
